Warbirds - Kangaroo CA-15
OK, what's going on here. What the heck is the Kangaroo?!
The Kangaroo is an aircraft that the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation built 2 prototypes of towards the end of World War 2. This bird was the Australian's shot at building a competitive aircraft to the P51 Mustang and a major upgrade to the Boomerang.
During test flights the CA-15 - Kangaroo clocked a max speed of 502mph.
At the end of the war the 2 prototypes were scrapped and completely destroyed.
It is one of our dreams to build from the original plans a complete Kangaroo. To breath life into this great plane again. If you share our dream, please let us know.
